Ruthmarie Mokihana Jumawan Aspacio "Ruthie" was born on August 21, 1970 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was welcomed into Heaven at the age of 44 on the morning of Saturday, April 18, 2015 by her Lord and Savior. Ruthie attended Kahaluu Elementary on Oahu and Kapaa High School on Kauai and loved being part of the Kapaa Swim Club. She graduated in 1988. Other education included pre nursing courses, she was a true selfless caregiver at heart. Ruthie gave her heart to Jesus when she was just a young teenager and lived the rest of her life in service to her Lord. If the doors were open and the lights were on, you could find Ruthie at Champion Church serving, helping, or just visiting and spreading her joy. She had a smile that brightened every room she entered and eyes that sparkled with true love of God. Once you met her, you were instantly a friend. Ruthie married the love of her life Dexter F. Kalai Aspacio on April 7, 2006 and moved to Yuma, Arizona in 2008, where they set down their roots and continued to raise their family, serving within their church and community. She was a wonderful and devoted wife and mother. Ruthie was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Jumawan. She is survived by her loving husband, Dexter F. Kalai Aspacio; mother, Flora Catalina Mangrobang; father, David Colotario Jumawan; her in-laws, Angel and Debora Aspacio; 10 children, Justyn 26, Ikaika 24, Ekolu 22, JoJo 16, Ury 13, HalyMarie 12, Eryn 11, Nasya 8, Bethany 6, and Dacyn 5; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nephews. Ruthie has left a tremendous void that only she could fill, but has heard the very words she lived to hear: "Welcome home thy good and faithful servant" Amen. There will be a visitation and viewing open to the public on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Johnson Mortuary, 1415 S. 1st Avenue, Yuma. A Celebration of Life and memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Champion Church, 3625 S. Avenue 5E?, ?Yuma.? ?
