He lived in Vero for 28 years coming from Bel Air, MD. He retired from the military and had a career in Nuclear Physics. Russell was a member of Our Savior Lutheran. He was married to the late Joan Prinz Galasso for 56 wonderful years. Russell is survived by his daughters, Linda Peters of Livermore, CA and Kathy Powell of Bel Air, MD and sons, John Galasso of St. Helena, CA and Danny Galasso of Tijeras, NM.A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 3rd at 5 pm at Our Savior Lutheran Church.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the .
