Russell worked as a fireman for SAFD. He was an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons. He worked the last several years doing landscaping as Bumann Landscaping.Russell is survived by his parents, Jon and Marilyn Bumann of San Angelo, sons, Jon Brandon Bumann of Katy, Texas, Stuart Bumann and Connor Bumann, both of Wall, Texas, sister, Michelle (Heath) Crenwelge and their children, Collin and Natalie Crenwelge all of Dallas, aunts, Patricia Preas of Grape Creek, and Lois (Ted) Zeidler of Weston, Wisconsin, and a host of friends.Mass is at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, with Father Charles Greenwell, officiating.
