Russell D. McHenry, 35, passed away at home on Friday, August 14, 2009. He was born on November 2, 1973 in Millington, Tennessee. He was a beloved, husband, brother, son, and friend. Rusty graduated from Cibola High School in 1991. He attended DeVry in Phoenix, Arizona. Rusty was a very strong man who is loved and missed by many. He fought a long, hard battle with Multiple Sclerosis from the early age of 19 years old. He taught many people how to be strong when faced with a challenge. Everyone he knew, loved his big, beautiful smile, it will be missed by many. Rusty is survived by his wife of 15 years, Kimberly (Edington) of Yuma; father, Scotty of Yuma; sister, Jessica of Yuma; half-sister, Samantha Saxon of Madill, Oklahoma; in-laws, Jeffrey and Clara Edington of Yuma; numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Rusty was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda; grandparents, Jess and Cora Calvert and Claude and Lillie McHenry. We would like to thank family and friends for all of their love and care for many years. Hospice Compassus for their love and support and Cecilia Mayoral for being my husband's caregiver and friend for three years. A visitation will be held at Johnson Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, August 20, 2009 from 9:00 a.m to 10:00 a.m. The Funeral is to begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
