Rudolpho "Chuco" Barretto has left to be with the Lord on October 20, 2017.Rudy was born on March 9, 1952 in El Centro, Ca. He grew up in El Rio as a kid and later moved to Ventura, where he lived most of his life. He was employed by the local union 585. He was a casual longshoreman and worked for the city of Simi Valley.He survived by his wife of 41 years, Irene Barretto; his daughters: Regina Crites (Gary), Teresa Barretto, Angela Reynoso (Luis), Rudie J.R. Barretto, and Arcelia Barretto; his sons: Paul and John Barretto; his sisters: Francis (Don), Ramona Banales, Sally (Eddie), and Gloria (Victor); his brother, Tano (Percilla); 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.Rudy is preceded into death by his parents, brothers, his son, Mark, and his granddaughter, Savannah Rose.Rudy Chuco Barretto was a legend to many and a very special person to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by everyone.The Barretto family would like to thank all who surrounded the family with their love and support."Never forgotten, Always remembered, Forever Loved."A Vigil will be held at 6:00pm on Friday, November 10, 2017 in San Buenaventura Mission, 211 East Main Street, Ventura. Family and friends are invited to a view on Friday from 6:00pm to 8:45pm in the Mission. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, November 11, 2017 in the San Buenaventura Mission. Arrangements are under the care of the JOSEPH P.
