Ruby Lee "Lee Boy" Guillory Jr.Ruby Lee Guillory Jr., was born on July 19, 1963 in Oakdale, Louisiana to the union of his parents Ruby Guillory Sr. and Berthell G. Guillory.Mr. Ruby Lee Guillory Jr was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 23, 2017 at the age of 53, he was preceded in death by his infant son and parents, Ruby Lee Guillory Sr. and Berthell G. Guillory.Ruby graduated from Oakdale High School in 1983. Ruby was employed as an EMT with an Ambulance Service, he worked at Oakdale Community Hospital and Allen Oaks Nursing Home. He later went to work offshore for many years until he got severely injured and was forced to retire. In 2015 Ruby came to work at his families business Evins, Larry & Perry Family Funeral Home, Ruby enjoyed his work and was a valuable employee until he became ill. Ruby enjoyed cooking and catered many family reunions and other events in the community. Ruby loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. His kindness and generosity even through adversity will always be remembered and cherished. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.He leaves to cherish his memories his sisters, Lula Slate and Esther Artis of Oberlin, LA; Mary Guillory, Berthell Ann Guillory, Serina Barbin Guillory all of Oakdale, LA; his brothers, Herman(Dorothy) Guillory of Lake Charles, LA and Raymond(Beverly) Guillory of Oakdale, LA, his niece and Goddaughter Audreanna Cameron who was with him and nursed him to the end, two nephews and Godsons' Brian George and Toby Antione, his nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family and friends.On Friday, February 3, 2017 a wake will be held from 5 pm until 11:00 PM at First Baptist Church 117 S. 12th Street Oakdate, LA. and again on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the church, a visitation will be held at 8:00 am, with funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM, the burial will follow at Ceaser Cemetery in Duralde, LAMr. Ruby Lee Guillory Jr., services were entrusted to: Evins, Larry & Perry Family Funeral Home - 412 Canady Street - Oakdale, LA for information on Mr. Guillory's services please contact the funeral home at 318-215-8141 or on-line at www.evinslarryperry.com.
