"Together Again" Funeral mass for Roy C. Sindelar, age 90, will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 9, at St. Justin Martyr Parish, 35781 Stevens Blvd., Eastlake (please meet at church). Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery. Roy was born on May 9, 1926, in Cleveland to the late Charles J. and Emily (nee Matuska) Sindelar and passed away December 5, 2016. Mr. Sindelar served in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII, stationed in the Philipines. Roy worked for the U.S. Post Office as a supervisor in Cleveland's main branch and retired after 38 years of service. He loved Cleveland sports teams, boating, fishing, traveling across the country and trips to Canada for camping excursions, but his greatest love was his family. Roy was the beloved husband of 61 years to Sophie M. Sindelar (nee Czaplicki) whom passed away in 2009; loving father of Phillip (Nancy) and Richard (Barb Bass); cherished grandfather of Phillip (Michelle), Thomas (Danielle), Tricia (Tom Patton, deceased), Charles (Tracy), Stephen (Charla), and Keith (Michelle); and great grandfather of Ashley, Kayleigh, Isabella, Ellie, Michaela, Peyton, Stella, and EmmaLee.
