MILWAUKEE - Roxann Joy Pulice (Johnson), age 62, of Milwaukee, died Saturday, April 20, 2013, after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. She was born on July 2, 1950 and was the daughter of Henry and Myrtle (Bradford) Johnson of Racine, and Mary L. Crompton of Janesville. She graduated from Horlick High School in Racine in 1968 and continued her education from both Gateway Technical College in Racine and Carthage College in Kenosha with degrees in Social Work. She worked as a Social Worker in the Milwaukee area until her death, including many years at Lincoln Lutheran Nursing Home prior to moving to the Milwaukee area. Roxann's joys were her family, traveling, reading, her pets, and her wonderful friends. She is survived by her 3 children: Michelle Jorgensen of Oshkosh, Michael (Sheila) Pulice of Green Lake, and Linda Pulice of Racine; 4 grandchildren (Trevor (Katie) Jorgensen, Vincent Ishman, Lauren Pulice and Erin Pulice); 3 siblings: Robert W. Crompton of Janesville, Carole McCune of Johnson City, Tennessee, and Mary L. Crompton of Roselle, IL.; numerous nephews and nieces; and special friends Sally Cadirci (Weber), Eva Gartner and Joyce Tabaca. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Charles Crompton. A graveside service is planned on Friday, June 7th at 11 am at West Lawn Memorial Park, 9000 Washington Avenue, Racine, WI 53406. Rev. Kenneth Lenz will be officiating.
