Rosemary Martinez passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, in Yuma surrounded by family after a long illness. She was born on April 6, 1947, in Yuma. She met Jesse Martinez in 1982 and they were united in marriage on January 24, 1985, in Yuma. Rosemary was a homemaker and also worked as a waitress for several years. Rosemary had some hobbies that included making God eye decorations and playing slots on her lab top or going to the casino occasionally. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Jesse Martinez of Yuma; children, Deborah Cole of Vallego, CA, Dale and William Cole of Yuma, as well as 9 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She had a strong spiritual belief in God Almighty and through her faith and the spirit of God within her, she expected God's promise of eternal life. Wake and Rosary will be held at Johnson Mortuary between 1:00 P.M. and 4:00P.M. Friday, November 16, 2012.
