Rose Marie Willger RACINE Rose Marie (nee: Zalinski) Willger, 88, passed away on Monday August 12, 2013 at Oak Ridge Care Center in Union Grove. She was a lifelong resident of Racine, born on June 23, 1925 to Trifon and Albina (nee: Drozd) Zalinski. On June 26, 1948 Rose was united in marriage to Norbert M. Willger. She was a member of St. Sebastians Congregation. Rose loved to cook and bake. She also enjoyed gardening and sewing and she especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter. Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Norbert, daughter, Darlene Schultz of Pinehurst, NC, son, Joseph Willger of Racine, granddaughter, Melissa Lynn Willger of Sturtevant; sister, Arlene Monson of Kenosha; sister-in-law, Esther Abramovicz of Thorp. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Rose was preceded in death by her sister, Lorraine (Robert) Stram, brother John Zalinski, son-in-law, Andrew Schultz, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Alfred (Angeline) Nichols, Walter Abramovicz, Kenneth Monson and Glenn (Lois) Willger. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery Chapel, 5600 Holy Cross Road (Hwy 32) on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. There will be a visitation at the chapel before services from 10 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. A special thank you to the staff at Oak Ridge Care Center and Timber Oaks, Dr. James Simonds, also to Theresa of Vitas Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
