Rose Cole BrowningSharps Chapel, TNRose Eva (Cole) Browning, 82, Kokomo, passed away at 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at her home. She was born on September 9, 1934, in Sharps Chapel, TN, the daughter of Roy and Floy (Shoffner) Cole. On November 27, 1952, she married Troy C. Browning and he survives. Rose retired from Delco Electronics after 30 years of service and was a member of UAW Local #292, along with Oakgrove Baptist Church in Sharps Chapel, TN. She was involved in the Busy Bee's making quilts and crafts.Rose was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Brenda Joyce Chittom; brother, Beecher Cole; and brother-in-law, George Sherritze. Rose is survived by her husband, Troy C. Browning, Kokomo; children, Rick (Bonnie) Browning, Russiaville, IN, Steve (Trisha) Browning, Sharps Chapel, TN, Teresa (Brian) Guy, West Middleton, IN, and Lisa (Carl) McClaine, Russiaville; along with 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one on the way in July; brothers, Bill (Jo Marie) Cole, Bob (Linda) Cole; sister, Anna Mae Sherritze; and sister-in-law, Georgia Cole.Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street, Russiaville.
