Rosalyn "Rosie" Ann FreehFREMONT: Rosalyn "Rosie" Ann Freeh, 89, of Fremont, Ohio passed away on January 21st, 2017 surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was born on January 12th, 1928 in Fremont to the late Joseph and Leona (Darr) Mosser. Rosie graduated from Fremont St. Joseph High School class of "46" and began working as a teller at Fremont Savings Bank. After obtaining her nursing license, she worked at Dr. Gedert's Office then ministered to the retired sisters at Our Lady of the Pines. She also found great joy working as a secretary at the St. Joseph Parish Rectory. Rosie had a generous heart and was a dedicated servant to many worthy causes. On April 18th, 1953, she wed Jerome "Jerry" Freeh. This was a union that flourished for 63 years and blessed them with seven loving children. Rosie's passion was her family. Some of her happiest times were attending her children and grandchildrens' activities, games, graduations and weddings. She deeply loved family vacations, gardening, crossword puzzles and the color blue. Rosie's passing was much like her life, filled with peace and joy surrounded by her family. Rosie and Jerry can be remembered welcoming everyone onto their front porch and into their home. Rosie is survived by her sister Madelene, her children, Linda (Bill) Beier, Connie (John) Riley, Susan (Richard) Jenkins, Robert Freeh, Kenneth (Katie) Freeh, Matthew (Michelle) Freeh, & Ruthi (Christopher) McGarry, 19 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents and siblings, Lenard, Bernadine, Wilfred and Edmond.Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm , with vigil services beginning at 7:30P.M.at Keller-Koch-Chudzinski Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch St, Fremont, OH, 43420. A Mass of Resurrection will be held Friday, January 27, 2017 at 10:30am at St. Joseph Church with Rev. Michael Zacharias officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. A time of fellowship will be held immediately after the burial at St. Joseph Parish Hall.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bishop Hoffman Schools, Saint Joseph Parish or Our Lady of the Pines.
