Babler, Ronald F. "Curly"Ronald F. "Curly" Babler, age 86 of Two Rivers, died on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Rivers Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.He was born on May 9, 1930, son of the late Francis and Beatrice (Wiltgen) Babler. On August 3, 1963 Curly married Patricia Kuenzel at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Curly was employed with Burger Boat of Manitowoc and later as a painter with Lee's Color Studio of Manitowoc until his retirement. He served overseas in the US Army from 1947 until 1951. He also traveled the globe as a member of the Merchant Marines. Curly was a member of the WI Archaeological Society, Manitowoc County Civil War Round Table, Central States Archaeological Society, Westshore Sportsman's Club, the Whitelaw Sportsman's Club, Indian Artifacts Society, French Canadians and Friends of Two Rivers and the Confederate Stamp Alliance. He was a brilliant historian with a passion for early America. Friends may view a portion of his Indian artifacts collection at The Rogers Street Fishing Village Museum in Two Rivers.Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Theresa and James Franz, WA, Linda and Randy Anhalt, Reedsville; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Rick and Beth Hoida, Manitowoc, Greg Hoida, Manitowoc; 6 grandchildren: Ryan and Lindsay Anhalt, Manitowoc, Pamela and Karl Fels, Mt. Horeb, Tanya and Tyler Goen, Green Bay, Trisha and Nicholas Wautier, Green Bay, Tracy Hoida, OH, Tessa and Brian Gibbs, Madison; 3 great grandchildren: Clara, Macy and Avila; three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law: Barbara Davis, GA, Alice Haen, Two Rivers, Kathie and Charlie Bornemann, Green Bay. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife: Patricia Babler; his parents: Francis and Beatrice Babler; his sister and brother-in-law: Marlene and Charles Linsmeier; and two brothers-in-law: August Haen and Pete Davis.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Maurice Mmegbuadimma. Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc and entombment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth at a later date. Military Honors will be accorded by
