Ronald Branch Sr., 67, of Ventura, California, lived an amazing life and departed this earth Thursday, October 18, 2018. Ronald was sixth of seven children born February 24, 1951, to Sam H Branch Sr. and Ida Pearl Branch in Goleta, Ca.
Ronald grew up in Ventura where he met and married his first wife, Joanne. Together they have three children, Shana Rogers, Rhonda Branch & Ronald Branch Jr. As a father, Ronald dedicated his life to taking care of his children working 25 years at Point Mugu Naval base as a GPS Civil Servant. Ronald had a wonderful disposition and loved being around children. His love for children lead him to the Boys and Girls Club of Camarillo where was the director for 20 years.
Ronald would have a second chance at love meeting and marrying his second wife, Mae Branch. After working tirelessly at the Naval Base and the Boys and Girls Club, Ronald retired then he and his wife purchased a home and moved to Rosamond, Ca. Ronald then decided to embark on another career and became Security Guard at Antelope Valley Hosptial.
Ronald was a great lover of sports and huge Dodger fan. If he wasn't watching baseball he was talking about it and at one point he also was a little league coach.
Ronald leaves to cherish his wife, Mae Branch; his children, Shana Rogers (Mo) Rhonda Branch and Ronald Branch Jr.; his grandchildren, Symone Arbizu, Julian Arbizu, Scotty Tripp, Brandon, Nathaniel Hill; and 5 great-grandchildren, Samaria Roberts, Sariyah Dixon, Christopher Dixon, Christian Dixon, and Lilliana Arbaiza; sister, Barbara Campbell (Bakersfield) Doris Lee (Robert) Rosamond, Ca.; brother, Larry Branch (Rosamond, Ca.); and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Ronald is preceded in death by his father, Sam H Branch I; mother, Ida Pearl Stanton; sisters, Erma Miller, Evelyn Jordan; and brother, Sam H. Branch II.
