Ronald "Ron" Brown passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, August 8, 2015, at the age of 61.

Ron was born December 29, 1953, to the late Albert Brown and Ann (Sartori) Garrison.

Ron leaves behind his wife, Joan Simmons Brown; his three children, Adam Brown and his wife, Andrea, Rachel Brown-Beale and her husband, William, and Scott Brown and his wife, Priscilla; his five grandchildren, Anthony, Timothy, Kamden, Evan, and Shayla; and his brothers, Rick and Michael and his wife, Sheryl.

Ron loved woodworking and was an avid sports fan. Each year he took part in a golf tournament with his son, Adam, and his grandson, Timothy. He joined his daughter Rachel and her husband when they took their children to their first Red Sox game at Fenway Park. He also went with his son Scott to watch dirt bike races at the Southwick Nationals.

Ron may have been a man of few words but the love that poured out for his family was neverending. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

At Ron's request no services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, Ron has requested donations be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital.
