Roger L. Dunning Sr., 71, of Little Road, Dresden died unexpectedly died November 14, 2017, at his residence. He was born in Wiscasset on September 24, 1946, a son of Lee W and Gertrude E. ( Grover ) Dunning Sr.

Roger attended Wiscasset Schools and was employed at various jobs in the Wiscasset area. He is survived by his ex-wife, Sandra Guild of Augusta; Six sons, Roger L. Dunning Jr of Oakland, Preston Dunning and his wife BobbiJo of Wiscasset, David Dunning of Wiscasset, Michael Dunning and his wife Sandra of Woolwich, Adam Wright of Topsham and Charles Dunning of Portland; three daughters, Angela Dunning and her husband Brett of Boothbay, Victoria Field-Martin and her wife Regina of Hope, April Lucas and her husband Jeffrey Sr of Edgecomb and Step Daughter Nancy Pepper and her husband Benjamin of Gardiner. Three Brothers, John Dunning and his wife Hope of Wiscasset, Sam Dunning and his wife Carol of Woolwich and Donald Dunning of Wiscasset; two Sisters, Joanne Hall and her husband Gerald ( Gerry ) of Bath and Lillian Love and her husband Byard of Gardiner; Several Grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many Nieces and Nephews.

He is predeceased by his Parents and three Brothers, Richard, Stanley and Lee Jr.
