Mr. Roger Allen Goss of Newton died on Tuesday May 6, 2014, at his residence. He was 50.

Mr. Goss was born on Feb. 26, 1964, in Ashe County to Charles Edward and Madeline Nola Miller Goss.

Mr. Goss was employed for 30 years at Conover Machine and Design.

Mr. Goss is survived by his wife, Sharon Huffman Goss of Newton; sister Norma Ruth Goss of Jefferson; brother, Ken Goss and wife, Tonya of North Wilkesboro; and a nephew, Logan Charles Goss.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2014, at Badgers Funeral Home in West Jefferson. A graveside service will follow at the Goss Family Cemetery.
