Our beloved Father, Grandfather, Great-grandfather and Uncle joined our heavenly father and His choir of angels on March 4, 2017. He was born in Guadalajara Mexico on July 28, 1939 and became a resident of Ventura County in 1980 where he worked as a mechanic until he retired.
He was "the eternal teenager" refusing to lose his child like joy and expressed it through his love of music. He loved the simple things in life like nature, the ocean and the constellations. He had a great passion for playing pool, where he met many amazing friends and always said he was "The Best!", never losing his sense of humor. He always had a smile on his face as if he knew that the secret to life was in joy and love, embracing every moment and living in the moment. Perhaps this is why his transition to next phase was peaceful and surrounded by loved ones, which is the way he wanted it. He always loved family gatherings and was ready to sing it up at the next party.
His joy and contagious, happy energy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Although he is no longer physically present, his spirit will forever remain in each of us.
He is survived by his 7 children: Araceli Ramirez, Patricia Ponce, Hector Ramirez, Sylvia Hague, Alexis Tiradeau, Carolina Ramirez, and Rudy Ramirez. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A very special thank you to Vitas Hospice for their amazing support at a very difficult time. The staff, nurses, and everyone that guided us through this with compassion and dignity.
