Rochelle Natterstad McCollum of Storden, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2012, at her home in Kittitas, Washington.She was born on October 1, 1940, to Johan (Jack) and Helen Natterstad; one of six children. Her family moved to the Seattle area in 1953. She graduated from Shoreline High School, fell in love and married Bobbie (Bob) McCollum on July 12th, 1958.In 1973 they settled in the Kittitas County area where she was active with the horse group Silver Spurs. She was very involved with her children and their friends in addition to running the family farm. Together she and Bob ran McCollum Trucking and were owners/operators of the Time Out Saloon, in Kittitas, from which she retired after 20 years. Rochelle was a loving and dedicated grandma to her 7 grand babies, 18 great-grand babies & her very large Natterstad family. In no time, Rochelle became "Mom" to everyone she met; both stranger and friend. Rochelle is survived by her mother Helen, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters; daughters Teresa Jacobson, Julie Bennett, and Jennifer Johnson; 6 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, father Johan, mother-in-law Bernice, father-in-law Harold, and her grandson Randy Sperline. Her family would be honored to share with you in the celebration of her life on Saturday, October 20, 2012, from 1:00-4:00 p.m., at the Time Out Saloon, 101 S. Main St., in Kittitas.
