THREE FORKS - Ann Cazier, 76, a life long resident of Three Forks, Montana, passed away peacefully in Great Falls, Montana, on Nov. 9, 2016. She was born on April 7, 1940, in Great Falls, MT to Walter Burwin Smith and Myrtle Jean Hunter Smith. She met and married LaGrand Anderson Cazier on November 26, 1957 in Three Forks and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She graduated from Three Forks High School in 1958. Ann was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints all her life and held various callings.Ann loved to bowl and go to the movies. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years. She loved to travel and go out to eat. She lived her latter years in Florence, Arizona in the winter and would live with her daughters and their families during the summer months. Later her health declined so that she had to live in Broadwater Health Center in Townsend and then a brief stay in Missouri River Center in Great Falls.She supported her husband LaGrand in his life long love of farming until he passed in 2000. She was proud of her son Robert taking over their farm in Toston. LaGrand and Ann were the parents of six children: Connie and husband John Dalton of Three Forks, Grandy Cazier and partner Aurora of East Helena, Larry Cazier and wife Kelli of Three Forks, Robert Cazier and wife Jane of Toston, Elizabeth "Beth" and her husband Wendell Smith of Fountain, Colorado, and Doug Cazier of Three Forks. Also they were grandparents to 15 and had numerous great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister-in-law Bonnie Smith of Anaconda. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband LaGrand, her two daughters Beth and Connie and her brother Frank. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 19, at 10 a.m. from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Three Forks. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery at Three Forks.
