Robert ‘Bob’ D. Hall RACINE – Robert ‘Bob’ Dwayne Hall, 83, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare–All Saints. He was a lifelong resident of Racine, born on May 17, 1930, the son of the late Joseph and Grace (nee: Jelinek) Hall. Bob had attended Wm Horlick High School. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. On May 16, 1952 he was united in marriage to Beverly B. Baumgart. Bob was a semi-truck driver, retiring from RaeMarc Trucking. He loved the outdoors and was a huge sports fan, especially the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers. Bob enjoyed bowling, golfing and baseball. He also enjoyed camping, going to the casinos and the many bus trips he and Beverly took. Surviving is his wife of 61 years, Beverly and their children, Robert (Marianne) Hall, Cindy (Mark) Peterson, Tom (Dawn) Hall, Tim (Grace Burg) Hall and Dan Hall; grandchildren, Cameron, Amy, Brian, Jerry, Sara, Tiffany, Jena and Jack. He is further survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. Private services have taken place with burial at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery. For those wishing to remember Bob in a special way, memorials to one’s favorite charity has been suggested.
