Robert "Bob" Wayne Henry, 70 year old resident of Grove, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.Bob was born on October 13, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of Dorothy (Jacobs) and Joseph Henry, Jr. After graduating high school, Bob attended Oklahoma State Tech, then was drafted into the United State Army and then was united in marriage to the love of his life Marcia Lee Souders. Bob worked as an accountant for 36 years, retiring from Phillips Petroleum. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman. Bob had a real passion for grilling and smoking meats, and was always ready for a good football game. But more than anything, Bob loved to spend time with his precious granddaughters.Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his only brother Joseph Henry, III, and a son Kyle Henry. He leaves behind his loving wife; Marcia Henry of the home and two sons; Scott Henry of Louisville, KY and Brett Henry and his wife Erika of Spring, TX; his three precious granddaughters Riley, Zoey and Josephine.A visitation will be held at 4:00 p.m. prior to the services which is scheduled for 5:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2016 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma with Mr. Doug Rainbolt officiating.
