Robert “Bobby” Washington, Jr., 51, of Detroit, Michigan, passed Saturday, February 23, 2019 after a fatal auto accident. Bobby was a loving family man and will be missed dearly.  Robert was born to Torri Chandler and Robert Washington, Sr., on November 10, 1967. He was the couples fourth child, he has four older sisters serving him Whitney, Ashley, Michelle and Candice Washington.  Bobby lived in Detroit his entire life, he graduated from Mumford High School in 1985 and started working at the Chrysler plant immediately following graduation.  In 1990, he welcomed his first child with Janet Jones a daughter Rachelle Washington, and in 1995 he welcomed his first son Robert Washington III with Marie James.  In 2009 Bobby welcomed his first grandson DeMani Johnson and in 2010 he welcomed his first granddaughter Denise Johnson.  Robert was a loving father and grandfather, anyone who knew him, knew that his family was his life.  He was a wonderful provider, a leader and a God-fearing man who will be deeply missed.  In 2013 Robert met his fiancé Nicole Watson at a Detroit Tiger’s Game at Comerica Park. The two instantly fell in love and soon after welcomed two more sons into the family Nassim and Nasir Washington.  Robert’s children and grandchildren continue to live out his legacy.
