Robert "Samoan" R. Smith II passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016. He was born on September 28, 1959, in Erie, Pa., son of Robert R. and Dolores Szparaga Smith. He worked as a landscaper. He enjoyed helping friends and family, gardening, and was an avid Colts and NASCAR fan. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Stephen and Mark Smith, a brother-in-law, John Montroy Jr. and mother of his children, Kimberly Hartman. Survivors include his parents, two sons, Robert R. Smith III of Corry, Pa. and Brandon M. Smith of Erie, a daughter, Kayla M. Smith of Erie, two sisters, Darlene Montroy, Christine McShane, and three brothers, Gary Smith (Dolores), Gerald R. Smith, Jeffrey Smith (Tammy), all of Erie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Edward J.
