Foertsch, Robert R.Age 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 19, 2017 at Garden View Assisted Living Center in Fox Crossing. Bob was born on February 1, 1939, in Beaumont, Texas, son of the late Robert & Germaine (Zinzler) Foertsch. On January 14, 1961, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Janice Stevenson in Menasha. She preceded him in death in 1993. Bob served his country in the Army Reserve. Bob celebrated an outstanding sales career at Laptham-Hickey Steel in Oshkosh for 25 years. Bob's passion was his family and his wit and charm touched many lives.Bob is survived by two sons, Robert (Joni) Foertsch, South Carolina, William Foertsch, Green Bay. Two step-brothers, Donald (Delores) Schaub, Brookfield, Norman (Beth) Schaub, West Bend. Three grandsons, David, Austin & Gable. The Funeral Ceremony for Robert will be held at 1:00p.m. Thursday August 24, 2017 at the Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville. Visitation will begin at 11:30a.m. until the time of service. Entombment will be at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Neenah.
