Robert Lechner1936 - 2014Robert Lechner, 78, of Kenosha passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 23, 2014, at his home.Robert was born on April 23, 1936, in Ojibwa, Wis., the son of the late Frederick & Estella (Bulak) Lechner. He was educated in the schools of Black River Falls and Merrillan, Wis. Robert married Ruth Schultz on April 12, 1958, in Globe, Wis. He was a member of the United States Coast Guard. Robert was employed at OMC/Johnson motors for 31 years. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, scrapping, cheering for the Packers, and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Ruth of Kenosha, children, Susan (James) OConnor of Kenosha, Laura (Jeffrey) Cvik of Beach Park, Ill.; brothers, Richard Lechner of Greenfield, Wis., Ronald Lechner of Marysville, Wash.; sisters, Lorraine (Phillip) Franklin of Libertyville, Ill., Mary (Paul) Revis of Grayslake, Ill.; grandchildren, Victoria and Ryan Cvik, and Michael OConnor, Colleen Burdey, and Jennifer OConnor; six great grandchildren; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert D. Lechner Jr., siblings, Delores, Fred, Joseph, and Kenneth.A visitation will be held on Thursday June 26, 2014, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 9-11 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. Burial Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
