YORK Robert Houser passed away peacefully at Hershey Medical Center Thursday, October 15, 2015. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 74 years, Betty Houser; his daughter, Linda Carpen; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. His loving daughter, Paulette Linn, was waiting for him in heaven. Robert had a love for children and the family will cherish the memories of fun and games with him. Robert was born on July 23, 1921. He was a United States Army Veteran, and was a long time employee of Caterpillar Tractor Company. Viewing will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg, and Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2015, in Seven Sorrows Catholic Church, Middletown. Burial will be at the Resurrection Cemetery, with full military honors.
