Horton, Robert Jr.Robert L. (Bob) Horton, Jr., age 81 of Stratford, died at Bridgeport Hospital on Tuesday, November 15 after a short illness. He was the beloved husband for 34 years of Agnes Leone Horton. Bob was born on October 25, 1935, the son of the late Robert Laurence Horton, Sr. and Catherine Kennedy Horton. He was a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College and served his country in the U.S. Navy. Bob was retired from the Rexham Corporation in Bridgeport where he was an accountant. He was an avid golfer and a die-hard UConn Husky Women's Basketball fan. Bob was also a big NY Mets and Giants fan and loved March Madness NCAA basketball. He loved to dance and most of all he enjoyed being with his family and will be dearly missed. In addition to his wife Agnes, Bob is survived his children Robert L. Horton III and his wife Franca Gioia of New York City and Ellen Cass and her husband Christopher of Fairfield, grandchildren Leah, Lucy, Marco and Oriana, his sister Mary Jane Winchester, sister and brothers-in-law Jim and Mary Bogdany, Peter Leone and Gen, and several nieces and nephews.
