Robert Lewis Hilderbran, 79, of Salisbury passed away Nov. 10, 2016. Robert was born on June 14, 1937 in Catawba County to Jones R. and Katie Hilderbran. Robert enjoyed the outdoor life, hunting, fishing, just the beauty of nature. He also loved to dance. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Hilderbran; and his parents. Surviving are his daughter, Katie D. Hilderbran of Mooresville; two sisters, Sally Stewart of Catawba and Janey Hilderbran of California; nieces; nephews; and friends. Visitation: The family will receive friends 12 -1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 12, at Summersett Funeral Home. Service: Graveside Services will follow at 1:30 p.m., at Brookhill Memorial Gardens in Rockwell, NC with Rev. Larry Little presiding over the services.
