Robert C. Granger1926 - 2013Robert C. Granger, 87, of Kenosha, died unexpectedly on Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus.A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was born on Aug. 10, 1926, and was the son of the late Howard and Agnes (Hendricksen) Granger. Bob honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. On Sept. 11, 1948, at Grace Lutheran Church, he was united in marriage to Charlotte Kunde. They were blessed to have almost 65 years together. Bob was the owner of Granger Olds car dealership in Kenosha. He was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church; a true family man, especially devoted to his grandchildren. Bob is survived by his wife, Charlotte; his children, Mark (Nancy) Granger, Richard Dick Granger and Peggy (Andrew) Schapals; his daughter-in-law, Marianne Granger; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandson with another great-grandson on the way; his brothers, Howard Duke Granger, James Jim(Jan) Granger and his sister, Betty (Frank) Mueller along with many loving nieces and nephews.Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Jack and Robert Granger, Jr.; a brother, John and a sister, Dorothy Lee; sister-in-laws, Delores Haht and Geri Scheckler and a brother-in-law, Chester Skip Kunde.Funeral services will be held on Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home. Entombment with full military honors, will follow in All Saints Mausoleum. A visitation for Bob will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m until the time of the service.
