Robert R. Franke Sr.1949 - 2013Robert R. Franke Sr. 64, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at St. Catherines Hospital.He was born on July 10, 1949, to the late Ronald and Helen (Jarman) Franke in Sturgeon Bay. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Tremper High School in 1967.Bob worked as an electrician for Speaker Electric for many years and at AMC/Chrysler for 15 years. Bob was a member of the IBEW #127 and of Local UAW #72; he was a member of the Bristol Driftbusters and a member of the NRA. Bob enjoyed snowmobiling, golfing, photography, feeding birds, riding his Harley, remote control cars, and rigorous debates over politics with family and friends. He took pride on restoring his 67 Nova and then more recently helped Rory restore a 72 Chevy pickup. Bob also enjoyed attending the tractor/truck pulls with Rob and Rory this past summer.Bob is survived by his loving sons, Robert (Heather) Franke Jr., of Kenosha and Rory (Janet) Franke of Bristol; his loving sister, Janette Franke of Kenosha; his step grandchildren Bailey and Madilyn and his step great grandchild Kacey.Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
