Robert C. Everson1927 - 2013Robert C. Everson, 85, of Kenosha, died on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at United Hospital System St. Catherines Campus surrounded by his loving family.A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was born on Nov. 25, 1927, and was the son of the late Clarence and Florence (Krueger) Everson.During WWII, he honorably served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Enterprise.On June 11, 1949, at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, he was united in marriage to Patricia Scott. They were blessed to have celebrated 64 years together.For 30 years, he was employed with American Motors Corporation as a hammer man in their drop forge department.He was a faithful member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Bob was also the past president of the Drop Forge Union Local #1062 and the Ke-Nash-A Club.Bob enjoyed fishing and hunting at their home in Eagle River and spending time with his family.He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his two daughters, Deborah (Bob) Swartz and Diane (Eric) Briese both of Kenosha; and his four grandchildren, Scott Swartz, Sarah (Cesar Romero) Swartz, Ashley (Alberto) Rodriguez and Alex Briese. He was also BIG BUPPA to his five great grandchildren, Aryanna, Alexa, Vinny and Sonny Romero and Niko Rodriguez.Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7104 39th Avenue. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. A visitation for Robert will be held at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home on Sunday, Aug. 4, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and technicians at St. Catherines Hospital ICU, for all of the compassion and care that was given.
