Robert Ettore Davis AYDLETT - Robert Ettore Davis, 62 of Aydlett, NC died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, October 8, 2016. Bob was born on March 10, 1954 in Canton, Ohio to the late John Allen Davis and Esther Falcone Davis and was raised in Miami, FL. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Lynn McPartland Davis; their daughter, Taylor Davis; sister, Susan Vandeventer (Mark); brother, Jeff Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Journalism and Broadcasting. He embraced the challenge of life, from his early college days on the wrestling team to recently biking competitively.Bob was Director of Sales and Station Manager for Max Radio of the Carolinas in Nags Head, NC.Bob held close the importance of family and his faith. These core values transcended how he lived. The memories created will always keep Bob alive in our hearts. We find solace in knowing that this is just the beginning of a completely new adventure. A mass will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church, 154 Maple Road, Maple NC 27956, with The Very Rev. J. Victor Gournas, V.F. officiating.
