Robert C. RosaJanuary 4, 1933 - September 17, 2017Del Rey Oaks, Calif.Robert Charles Rosa passed away peacefully on September 17th, 2017 from natural causes. Robert was born on January 4th, 1933 at Natividad Medical Center in Salinas, CA. and was the first born child to John Sr. & Rose Rosa of Pacific Grove, CA. where he was raised along with his two siblings Jane and John Jr. Robert married Evelyn Ruth Moreno in 1964 and they remained together for fifty-three years until her passing on January 18th, 2017. Robert is survived by his son's; David Rosa, Daniel Rosa, Robert Cartner and Patrick Cartner, his siblings; Jane Fludd and John Rosa Jr, his grandchildren; Matthew Rosa, Jonathon Rosa, Holly Rosa, Robbie Cartner, Alex Cartner and five great grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by, his mother Rose Rosa who passed away in 1970, his father John Rosa Sr. who passed away in 1975, his son Michael Rosa who passed away in 2004 and his wife Evelyn Rosa who passed away in January of this year. A viewing and memorial service for Robert will be held on Saturday, October 14th between 1:00-4:00 pm at Mission Mortuary located at 450 Camino El Estero in Monterey. After the viewing and memorial service a reception and gathering of friends and family will take place between 4:00-7:00 at the Monterey Youth Center located at 777 Pearl Street in Monterey and directly across the street from the Mission Mortuary.
