Robert A. Bodven1933 2014 Robert A. Kaw Doc Bodven, 81, of Kenosha passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Manor Care. Bob was born on March 13, 1933 in Kenosha to Anthony and Elizabeth (Schwirzke) Bodven and he graduated from Bradford High School. He married Beverly Wardell and she preceded him in death in 1977. Bob married Patricia Barlow on Dec. 4, 1981 in Kenosha. He worked for American Motors for over 30 years, first on the assembly line then in the tool crib. Bob enjoyed everything about motorcycles, and took great pride in building and racing them.He was also preceded in death by, his parents;and his daughter in infancy.Bob is survived by,his wife of over 30 years, Patricia of Kenosha; his son, Robert M. (Suzann) Bodven of Fla.; four step-children, Scott (Delmara) Mantuano of Fla., Cathy Hanson of Kenosha, Greg (Wendy Hileman) Mantuano of San Diego and Suzanne (Art) Jones of Schaumburg; many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many friends.A memorial service for Bob will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 12 p.m. until the time of service.
