Rita (Andrea) Noel90, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2017. Rita was born on August 16, 1926 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, to Jack and Theresa (Lucchetti) Andrea. After earning a degree in occupational therapy from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, she began her career at the cerebral palsy clinic at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. She went on to become the director of the clinic, a vice president of the Indiana State Occupational Therapy Association and a board member of the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Greater Indiana.Rita spent her life serving and attending to the needs of others. In addition to being a devoted and supportive wife and mother of six, she was significantly involved in the Catholic community as a member of the Guardian Angel Guild and St. Augustine Guild. She served on the board of the Indianapolis Catholic Youth Organization and was honored with the Monsignor Busald Award for her many years of service. Rita was also an active member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for more than 50 years.Always a social butterfly, Rita enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing cards and preceding the Internet with her social networking abilities. Above all, she is remembered for her kindness, positivity and generosity to those she encountered throughout her life.Rita is survived by her sister, Theresa (Dave) Crewe; her children Michael (Barbara), Peter (Patty), Jeffrey (Laura), Gregory (Debbie), Joan Kinnaman (Brian), and John (Laura); 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Ervil Randolph Noel, sisters Philomena Andrea and Virginia (Harry) Ciaciura, brothers Alfred and Matthew Andrea and grandson, Adam.The funeral service will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, with visitation at Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel on Friday, February 3, from 4 - 8 pm.
