Mrs. Rita Faye Nix Steadham, age 56, of Hogansville, died on February 21, 2015 at her residence.
Mrs. Steadham was born on July 10, 1958 in Atlanta to Marvin Lee Nix and Geneva Wilbanks Lucas. Her father preceded her in death.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Phillip Mahlon Steadham; son, Jeb Steadham and his wife Jennifer and their children, Matthew, Marybeth, Gracie and Hannah; daughter, Jada Steadham and her boyfriend, Justin Cooper; brothers, Terry Nix and Edwin Nix; sister, Marlene Nix and her boyfriend Randy Pitts; other relatives and friends.
Services for Mrs. Steadham will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Baptist Tabernacle with Rev. Jimmy McMillian officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. On line condolences may be sent to the family at www.higginslagrangechapel.com.
