Rickie Lee DunfeeNEWARK: Rick was born on June 1, 1952 in Effingham Illinois to the late Harold and Faye (Bounds) Dunfee. He passed away on Monday March 13th at home surrounded by friends and family. For over 23 years Rick worked for Union Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio and was affectionately known as "Gravedigger" by friends and loved ones. He was a notorious prankster with a quick wit and an easy smile. Rick loved to be outdoors and took every opportunity to go golfing, mushroom hunting or to have a fire and enjoy time with friends. Always a tinkerer, he was an excellent mechanic and handyman that friends and neighbors could depend on. Rick was a loving father, brother and friend. His loss is mourned by his children; Megan, Richard, Nicholas, Michael, Jennifer and wife of 24 years, Cathie. He is survived by his sisters Diane Mills and Sherry Berger, as well as his close companion and caregiver Marcia Lane. Rick was beloved by his many friends and by his devoted nieces and nephews. His smile and laughter will be sorely missed by all who knew him. A memorial celebration for friends and family will be held Sunday March 26th from 2pm-6pm in James E. Bradley Center at Infirmary Mound Park located at 4309 Lancaster Rd. Granville, Ohio.
