DeGrand, RickRick A. DeGrand, age 65, of rural Kiel, died unexpectedly on Thursday morning, December 8, 2016 at his home.He was born on November 30, 1951 in Green Bay, son of Audrey (Hoffman) Anderson and the late Donald DeGrand. Rick was a graduate of Washington High School in Two Rivers.On July 6, 1996 he was united in marriage to Sylvia (Arbuckle) Moya at Bethel United Methodist Church.Rick had worked for 20 years at Manitowoc Crane and had just recently retired. He was a member of the local International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Shipbuilders, Blacksmiths and Forgers through work. He had previously been employed at Tecumseh Products, New Holstein.Rick enjoyed working on and restoring cars. He was a racing fan, especially NASCAR and enjoyed photography. Survivors include his wife, Sylvia, his mother, Audrey Anderson, two brothers, Ross (Diane) DeGrand, Kerry DeGrand, and five children; Shane DeGrand, Heather DeGrand, Leslie (Francis) Bigboy, Peter (Wendy) Moya, and Wilbert Moya. He is further survived by his grandchildren; Quinn, Zander, Hope & DJ, Joshua Abhold, Matthew Kramer, Jessica (Ryan) Bigboy-Phiel, Francis Bigboy Jr., Bridgett Bigboy, Tyler Rockow, Melissa Moya, Cory Borgwardt, 14 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his father Donald, one sister; Vicki Lynn, his grandparents; John (Ruth) Hoffman, brothers-in-law; Bruce, Patrick, Aloysius, Leslie & Eugene Arbuckle, and a nephew; Michael Ross.According to his wishes cremation has taken place. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home (815 6th St. Kiel). Family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday from 4:00pm until the time of services. Carol Winick, Chaplain of Holy Family Memorial Medical Center will be officiating at the service.Rick's generosity has carried on, he chose to be an organ donor to help others.Online condolences at
