McCoy, Richard "Dick" Oren, Richard "Dick" Oren McCoy, age 77 of Louisville passed away on Monday May 8, 2017 at Forest Springs Health Campus. He was born on March 6, 1940 in Washington D.C. to David Oren and Viola Smith McCoy. After a 26 year career with IBM, Dick retired from Summit Energy. Dick was preceded in death by his father, David McCoy; mother, Viola McCoy;He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 51 years, Mary; sons, Jim McCoy (Angela) of Louisville, KY and Scott McCoy (Penny) of Frankfort, KY; daughter, Christi Franklin of Crestwood, KY; grandchildren, Sarah, Blaine, and Hayden McCoy, Nick and Aaron Franklin; Zachary and Emaleigh Stevens; great granddaughter, Addelyn McCoy; and brother, David McCoy (Jan) of The Villages, Florida. Memorial Services for Dick will be Friday May 12, 2017 at 7 P.M. at Watkins Memorial U.M.C. with Pastor Ken Hughes officiating.
