BLUFFTON, S.C. - Richard M. Turgeon died peacefully on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, surrounded by his family. Richard was born on February 24, 1922, to Joseph and Marie (Gaudreau) Turgeon. He was one of sixteen children all of whom have passed away. He attended local schools and was proud to have served in the US Navy during World War II. After retiring from GE, Richard "Dino" and his wife moved to Florida and lived there for several years then moved to South Carolina eight years ago. Surviving members of his family are Alberta (Courchene), his wife of 68 years, a son Richard, his wife Karen, and several nieces and nephews. Services will take place at a later time.
