Richard J. Jacquart SUN PRAIRIE- Richard J. Jacquart, age 67, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, March 18, 2013, from natural causes. Rich, the son of Lionel and Mary Catherine (Petronik) Jacquart, was born on April 25, 1945, in Ironwood, MI. He graduated from high school in Racine, where he also lived most of his adult years. Rich was drafted and honorably discharged from the Army. Rich always excelled in working with his hands and leveraged those skills as a journeyman tool and die maker for several companies in Southern Wisconsin. He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, golfing and metal detecting, as well as indoors bowling, coin collecting or playing cards with family and friends. Rich was a warm, quiet and caring person who always made time for others who were in need. He will be fondly remembered, especially by his six grandchildren whom he cherished dearly. Rich is survived by his two children, Nicole (Matthew) Horton, of DeForest, and Brent (Mary) Jacquart, of Palm Coast, FL; his six grandchildren, Alexis, Jasmine, Blaine, Sarah, Adam, and Owen; his sisters, Mary Jo, Mickey, Jerry, Loretta, and Nanette; his brothers, Daniel, Tom, and Fred; and many other family and close friends. Rich was preceded in death by his parents, Lionel and Mary Catherine Jacquart; and a sister, Lorraine. A celebration of Rich’s life will be held at a later date.
