HaseltonAge: 56 • BurlingtonRichard E Haselton, 56, of Burlington, VT, passed away peacefully at his home after several years of declining health on April 30, 2107.He was born on April 20, 1961, in Burlington Vt, the son of Neil and the late Joyce (Barney) Haselton.He attended school in Winooski and lived there for most of his life. He was a mechanic, and very good at it. He always enjoyed his work at Twincraft for many years. He loved fishing, hunting, camping and anything to do with the great outdoors. He enjoyed cooking and sharing his delicious creations with his friends and family. He always enjoyed being able to spend time with his son and daughter. He was a very reserved firecracker. He enjoyed practical jokes with a good sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.He is survived by his daughter Sarah Jane Haselton and her fiance Joseph Keoki Lima, his son Ryan Neil Haselton, a granddaughter Glycerin, a grandson Aiden, his father Neil E Haselton, his sister Shirley and her husband Robert Paradise, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, a very dear friend Carolyn Lyford, and many friends. The family will receive people from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon with a Funeral Service starting at 12:00 Noon, on Friday May 5, 2017 at the Ready Funeral Home and Cremation Services South Chapel 261 Shelburne Rd. Burlington VT. Burial will follow at St Francis Xavier Cemetery in Winooski.
