Richard C Enriquez passed away unexpectedly due to heart complications October 20th, 2019. Rick was born February 14, 1962 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Chris and Elke Woestmann Enriquez. 

He was a humble Christian who loved Jesus not just in name but in deeds. Rick had many talents and was a master carpenter. He was smart, very creative and could figure almost anything out. He graduated from Alta High in 1980 and Salt Lake Community College in 2000. He would always lend a helping hand wherever needed, he was a friend to all he met.

He married Jackie Reems in 1991, later divorced. Married Sandy Reynolds in 2001 later divorced. Rick spent the last 7 years in a loving relationship with Julia Roberts Griffiths.

When Rick and Jewels met, everyone knew they were a perfect fit. As often said, they were both broken people who leaned on each other for strength and somehow through it all they flourished and grew every day. They were each other’s bookends and better people by knowing one other. Loving each other was one of the greatest experiences they ever knew.

Rick protected and loved his sister Stephanie unconditionally. He loved everyone with all of his heart. He had the best sense of humor and was always able to make you laugh and he lit up the room. He was the best brother anyone could ask for.

He loved and cared for his stepchildren Jami, Kehly, and Kimberly as if they were his own. He was involved in their school, church, dances and sports. Rick brought the family together by gathering for meals, camping and vacationing.

Rick loved to spend his time outdoors where he felt most at home. He enjoyed camping, 4 wheeling, hunting and fishing with friends, nephews and cousins. He was king of the campfire where he also often shared his mastery of playing the harmonica. 

He was an amazing nephew, uncle and cousin. He was a mentor to all whom he spent time with, he knew how to make everyone feel important and special. Rick had a way to make everything fun. He was an amazing, kind and loving man and will be missed dearly.

Rick is survived by Julia Roberts Griffith. Richard Capps (Stepfather), Sister, Stephanie (Tom) Scribner, Nephews, Matt and Spencer Scribner, Trent Steel. Sister, Kelly (Alan) Thomas, Nieces, Kayla Silva, Megan Medlock, Breanna Bright & Nephew, Tyson Thomas. Sister, Annette (Ron) Anderson, Nephew Jason Anderson. Michael and Vickie Boone (Stepparents), Nephew Jared Boone. Aunts, Joyce Dixon, Sharon Olds, Ruth Swan. Dieter and Eunice Nickels (Stepparents) Cousins, LaRae Castagno, Barbara Hacking, Tammy Price, Michael, Clint, Jacob, Cody, Dylan, Lacey, TyRay, Alexis, Pralee. Allie, Andrea, Angelica, Andrew Roberts  

He was proceeded in death by his mother Elke Nickels, Father Chris Enriquez, Grandparents Ernst and Marga Woestmann and John Sabino and Rose Duran Enriquez. Uncle Rainer Woestmann.  

Services will be held Wednesday October 30th at 5:00 pm
