Funeral services for Richard will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 23, 2017 at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle with burial to follow in the Avon Cemetery. A visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, June 22, 2017 also at Peterson Funeral Home. Richard was born on August 3, 1937 in Fairfield, Iowa to Charles Edward "Ed" and Alma "Lucille" Perrenoud Hilding. Richard grew up in Fairfield and Carlisle and spent his adult life in the Des Moines area. Richard was a truck driver over the years. He worked for Bartholomew and Brown, Glick Trucking and Demco. Richard is survived by his daughters, Dianna(Tim)Wiegert, Charlotte(Paul)Davison, and Brenda Hilding; son, Ed(Robin)Hilding; granddaughters, Leah and Cici; grandsons, TJ, Charles, Adam, Marty, Justin and Ryan and their families; sisters, Mary Friemel, Martha McAtee and Patty Calvert; brothers, Jim, John and Bill Hilding and many other relatives and friends.
