Richard A. Morales, 49, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017 in Mescalero, NM. Cremation has taken place and Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Woodbine Cemetery in Artesia, with Deacon Tony Dominguez of San Jose Catholic Church officiating. Richard Alonzo Morales was born on March 11, 1968, to Ramon Ortega Morales and Antonia Alonzo Morales in Artesia, New Mexico. Richard was very skilled in construction and tiling. He was a loner for the most part and that was how he liked to live his life. He was a big Dallas Cowboys fanatic, win or lose! He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Alicia Morales. Left to honor Richard are his pride and joy, daughter, Miranda Morales: his siblings: Corina Moya, Paula Najar (Salvador), Martha Morales (Chuy Garza), Manuel Morales (Rebecca), Dominga Moreno (Oscar) and Lupe Herrera (Manny), as well as numerous nieces and nephews and his girlfriend Filiga M.
