Richard Edwards, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on April 11, 2024, in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on August 6, 1939, to Randall and Shirley Edwards.

Richard is survived by his loving daughter, Jennifer Riley (Edwards), and son-in-law, Patrick Riley. He was a devoted grandfather to his two grandchildren. Richard attended DuPont Manual High School, where he graduated in 1957.

After graduation, Richard pursued a career as a truck driver for Dayton Freight, a profession he excelled in until his retirement in 2001. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his job.

Richard had a passion for fishing and spent many weekends on the water, enjoying the peacefulness and serenity that it brought him. He was also an avid sports fan, cheering on his favorite teams whenever he had the chance.

Richard will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and warm smile. He touched the lives of all who knew him and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
