POOLER -- Rhonda Marlene Lee passed away at her home in Pooler, Georgia, on Thursday, November 3, 2016. Rhonda was born on October 30, 1958, in Savannah, Georgia, and was the youngest of nine children of the late J.C. and Bee Lee. She was a member of Eastern Heights Baptist Church in Statesboro, Ga. Rhonda graduated from H.V. Jenkins High School in 1976 and was the licensed practical nurse program class president and first graduate of Ogeechee Technical College, Statesboro, in 1990. Rhonda was a career LPN at regional hospitals and nursing facilities. In addition to her parents, Rhonda was preceded in death by her brothers, Randy and Carl Blanchard; and her sister, Gloria Yelton. She is survived by her sisters, Betty Sue (Foye) Rockett, Gail (Tim) Ansley, Brenda (Jeff) Cobb; and her brothers, Parker (Pam) Chapman and James C. Lee. Additional survivors include her daughter, Savanna (Brian) Prevatt, Stephanie (Chad) Meisner and Scott (Julie) Lambert. She will be missed by her beloved granddaughter, Sutton Emilee Prevatt, who referred to her as "Granny Leaf," as well as granddaughters, Paige Meisner, Ava Meisner, Harper Lambert; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice Savannah, Inc., 1352 Eisenhower Drive, Savannah, GA 31406. The visitation will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016, from 1-2 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel, 7200 Hodgson Memorial Drive, in Savannah, Ga.
