Reggie BergPEORIA - Reginald "Reggie" R. Berg, 54, of Peoria passed away at 11:41 a.m. Thursday, February 2, 2017, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.He was born on July 13, 1962, in Albuquerque, NM, the son of Ronald S. and Gloria J. Alexander Berg Sr. He married Laurie Sylvester on June 11, 1983, in Peoria.Surviving are one daughter, Barbara (Bobby) Welte of Omaha, NE one son, Kevin Berg of Peoria Heights, IL; his mother, Gloria Berg of East Peoria, IL; and two brothers, Ron (Terri) Berg of Metamora, IL, and Randy Berg of Peoria Heights, IL. Also surviving are his uncles, Tom (Debbie) Alexander of Peoria, IL, and Harry (Terry) Alexander of Germantown Hills, IL; two nieces; two nephews; many cousins; and a special friend in his life, Cathy Krakel.He was preceded in death by his father.Reggie was a graduate of Peoria Central High School and Lincoln College of Technology. He was an auto mechanic in the Peoria area for many years. Reggie had a love for fishing, watching football, children, the ocean and music.Cremation rites have been accorded.
