Rebecca Christine PortilloOxnard, CARebecca Christine Portillo, 40, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. She was born on September 21, 1976 in Oxnard, CA to Armando and Josephine Portillo. Becky was a lifelong resident of Oxnard and graduated from Channel Islands High School in 1994. After high school she worked for several health care agencies in the area over the next 15 years. Becky loved spending time with her family, attending family functions, spending time with her many lifelong friends, listening to music, playing softball and, of course, loved watching her Los Angeles Dodgers. Becky is preceded in death by her mother Josephine Portillo.She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her father, Armando Portillo; grandmother, Trini Chavez; sisters, Monica (Portillo) Navarrete and Sonya Portillo; nieces, Alina, Crystal, Sara and Mia; nephews Alexander and Samuel; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom she was very close to.On behalf of our family we would like to thank everyone for their kind words, ongoing support and unbelievable generosity during this very difficult time. Words simply cannot express our gratitude and appreciation for the tremendous outpouring of love. Becky was truly loved and will be deeply missed. A Vigil for Becky will be held on Tuesday, January 24th at 7pm located at the Perez Family Funeral Chapel, 1347 Del Norte Road in Camarillo. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 5pm.Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 25th at 10am at Santa Clara Chapel in El Rio. Burial will follow at Santa Clara Cemetery in Oxnard.
